The Curriculum
About The Curriculum
Parents Forum workshops teach communications skills designed to increase participants’ emotional awareness and conflict management skills. The curriculum provides thoughtful examination of nine original questions about family life issues and is based on the book Where the Heart Listens, written by Eve Sullivan. The workshops, designed by Eve Sullivan and Christine Bates, are focused on helping participants improve their communication skills and can be held in a variety of group settings. The principles taught in the Workshops follow widely accepted principles and practices of psycho-social education.
