The Activating Empathy winners are great group, for sure, and I am happy that Parents Forum was a finalist. But (boo-hoo) our entry Opening the Door to Parents did not win. And that’s the way it is.

Plenty to be glad about, though, not the least is a new grandson who is all of a week old!

Other good stuff: I will be giving a conference presentation for the International Council on Couple and Family Relations (ICCFR) on incarcerated parents, this weekend, in Burlington Mass.  Bob Wojcik and Andy Cohen will present with me.

This morning I attended an Economist magazine meeting on Business without Borders in town, very posh.  After that I had a great conversation by phone with a media relations person at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, in Paris, on their Better Life Index. Google that! Fascinating. More on that another day.
